Prom Dreams Alumna Earns Her Doctorate Degree

Congratulations to Patricia Gonzalez, a 2010 Prom Dreams winner! She just received her doctorate degree in Educational Leadership and Change. She was able to obtain her degree online from the University of Southern California while living in New York. I am so proud of Patty.

Patty has given back to Bessie Morris Foundation in so many ways. Most notably, last year she helped to facilitate a virtual workshop at Cornell University where she worked. The workshop focused on helping Los Angeles middle school student participating in the Bessie Morris' Leadership Academy understand how best to prepare for college.
